Here’s What To Do:
1. Write a short work (250-500 words) of fiction or nonfiction OR create & submit a work of visual art.
2. Save and email your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, grade, school district, title of your work, and whether you’d like to be considered for the Art, Fiction, or Non-fiction genres. Up to 3 winners will be chosen in each category at both the middle school (6-8) and high school levels and awarded publication & other great prizes!
3. If your work is selected, you will be notified and then published in our 2016 Edition on May 20. 2016 in The Leader!
DEADLINE for Submissions: April 30, 2016
Winners will be chosen by May 6, 2016, so don’t miss out on this great chance to be a published author/artist and be featured in this great publication!

There is NOT a limit to how many submissions a student may provide. All submissions should include student name, grade, and school district in their email. Photos of artwork may be submitted along with student details.
