Student Interest Works: My Little Pony, by Megan C., Corning-Painted Post Middle School

I love My Little Pony (MLP)! It is a world of ponies that learn about friendship in the magical land of Equestria. The main characters are: Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Spike the Dragon. The ponies represent the Elements of Harmony. The Elements of Harmony are six magical items, necklaces and one crown, that when brought together, can defeat dark forces. They are all represented by the main characters, (except Spike). Rainbow Dash is loyal, Pinkie Pie has laughter, Rarity is generous, Apple Jack is honest, Fluttershy is kind, and Twilight represents the Element of Magic. Most fans of MLP think Magic is another word for Friendship, seeing how the subtitle of the show is: “Friendship Is Magic”.
The Bronies, or male fans of My Little Pony, think Friendship is Magic, the Pegasisters, or female fans of MLP, think that as well. I believe it myself! Each season there is a new villain introduced. Season One it was Nightmare Moon, Season Two it was Discord and Queen Chrysalis, Season Three it was King Sombra, and Season four it was Lord Tirek. In the beginning of Season 1, Princess Luna turned evil, and the Elements of Harmony were introduced. The main characters used them to get the darkness out of Luna. At the end of Season 2, it was the Grand Galloping Gala, a big party in Canterlot, the capital of Equestria. The main characters have their hopes up for a good time, but everything comes crashing down in the beginning of the night.
I first learned about MLP when I was four or five years old, and they changed the old version into this version. I was skeptical and I liked the old version better, but I eventually loved MLP, and I love it now! There are a lot more seasons, (four to be exact), to understand about this awesome show!
